This year special guest Daniel Tiger from the PBS KIDS show Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood will join us to spread kindness, give hugs, and help kids explore feelings, friendship, and peace.

Join us from 9:00 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. for free activities that celebrate peace!

Live Musical and Art Performances – Enjoy uplifting music from local artists all day long!

All-Ages Yoga Sessions – Stretch, breathe, and feel the peace.

Children’s Storytelling – Cozy up for meaningful tales that inspire kindness and understanding.

Collaborative Public Art Project – Add your creative touch to a community art piece celebrating peace.

Human Peace Sign Photo – Be part of our iconic group photo tradition happening at 12:00 p.m. by the main stage.

Special Appearance by Daniel Tiger! – Say hello and snap a photo with everyone’s favorite striped friend from PBS KIDS Daniel Tiger’s Neighborhood.

Interactive Peace Zone –  Local organizations host hands-on, resilience and peace-themed activities for all ages!

Wellness and Resilience Zone – Discover simple, powerful ways to care for your mind and body! Based on the Prescription for Wellness, this area highlights: Nature, Exercise, Mindfulness, Nutrition, Healthy Relationships, Mental Health and Sleep.

Apply to host a table at Peace Day in the Park! Nonprofit organizations with limited budgets who have a mission that aligns with promoting peace are welcome to apply. Organizations are accepted based on the discretion of the Peace Day Planning Committee. We are seeking a wide-range of organizations that offer a variety of services applicable to Central Florida. Mister Rogers Self-Guided Walking Tour

Explore the neighborhood that shaped Mister Rogers on a walking tour of Rollins College and find out how we’re keeping his legacy alive on America’s most beautiful campus.

Along the way, you’ll experience exclusive Mister Rogers memorabilia and artwork and get a feel for how we’re educating the next generation of global citizens and responsible leaders.

In honor of Peace Day in the Park, this self-guided tour will be offered on September 20, from 9 a.m. – 12 Noon. Maps are available at Olin Library (Stop 1).
